i have wanted to fly helicopters since i was born but have not had an opportunity. I graduated with a BS in graphic Design and have been unsuccessful in finding a job (if you need one let me know). i started thinking about joining the navy to fly helicopters (or jets or whatever) but i am having a hard time finding info on their website. my main questions are as follows

1) how likely is it that i fly for the navy? how competitive is it?
2) how much will i be able to make salary wise? the info online is in pay grades but i cannot find out what pay grade i would be in.
3) what is the likely hood that i go to war?
4) after i get out of the navy how easy will it be for me to find a job flying for other companies?
5) what is OCS and how long will it last, where is it?
6) my girlfriend and i are pretty serious, how likely is it that i get stationed near her (oklahoma city)?

I’m a stundent doing my 12th.I aspire to fly high.
please give me the details about this. Is it better to pursue the course to become a pilot right now or after completing my degree. what is the minimum salary being offered in this field?What is the approximate course fee?

About the Regional airlines, the pay, the life style and the hiring minimums to get hired?

Obviously people who have no knowledge about aviation will think 600 hours TT isn’t enough to get hire but in reality it’s fine.

My question is, will some idiotic lawmaker, some democrat in New York, try to propose a law that requires more Flying Time to get hired by an airline?

How likely is it that someone will step forward and try to change the pay of regional airlines, the long commute requirements to obtain certain licenses etc?

-I’m one of those people who believes pilots pay is right where it belongs- Helps to weed out those who do it for money and those do fly for passion;

Im looking to fly my cessna on the night that our city shoots off fireworks, however I would assume that there are either some TFR’s or procedure to follow. This will be my first fourth of july as a pilot and i kinda wanted see the fireworks from a different view, but at a safe distance. Any idea what to expect? Can it even be done? Have you ever done it before?

I watched this movie when i was a child and loved it. but i cant seem to remember the name… I remember that it started out with these two young hot shot pilots for the airforce. They tested all the best aircraft at the time. Even crashed a few. Then one of the men died i believe, and the other main character went on to fly the Bell x-1. First man to go mach 1… anyone recognize this? its driving me crazy

Will piloting in the future be so simple as learning how to drive a car in just a few weeks ?Will people own a cessna aircraft one day as a normal car nowadays??
