what is the average salary for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Australia?
I have worked in Aviation for 8 years. I currently have two airframe licences, Beechcraft 1900 and King Air 200, and one engine licence, PT6 Small Series. I want to migrate to Australia, and I wish to be able to make a comparison of the standards of living according to the comparative salaries.
What is the average aviation technician salary earnings now a days?
I’m attending my Airframe and Power plant classes presently with obtaining an AAS Degree in Applied Science after i finish. Plus was thinking about going back to school after i am done with A and P to complete the Avionics course that the school offers as well. So total is about a little under 2.5 yrs of schooling. Plus i have 10 years total of Aircraft exp both Mfg and inspection.
How much should I be making?
I have six years of experience in aviation in the Air Force. I just finished a Masters degree in Aeronautical Science and I have been working as an engineer in a fairly large firm for the past two years. I have a strong resume with many accomplishments listed throughout my eight years of experience. I also have a BS in Aeronautics and an AS in Aviation Technology.
What do you think an average salary for my qualifications and education should be?
